These terms and conditions apply for purchase from our online shop. Please read them carefully before ordering products from us. In order to make a purchase you must accept these terms and conditions and by doing so you agree to all that is stated below. You need to be 18 years or older to order at our web shop, otherwise you need to have your parent’s consent. By placing an order, you confirm that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into a binding agreement with BAST Sweden AB.

 

BAST Sweden AB (BAST) is a Swedish company that is subject to Swedish law including EU regulations and directives. Furthermore, BAST strives to always comply with mandatory consumer protection laws and regulations where you as a consumer has your country of residence. BAST cannot guarantee that these terms and conditions comply with all applicable mandatory consumer protection laws. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Bast’s liability with regard to any matter for which it would be unlawful for BAST to limit or exclude its liability according to applicable mandatory law.

 

PRICES

All prices in the online shop include 25 % Swedish VAT and the choices of currency is; Euro (EUR) and Swedish Krona (SEK).

The prices in the online shop do not include any payment- and shipping charges or customs duty.

We reserve ourselves for any price adjustments and obvious typing errors in the online shop, in advertisements or in marketing material. When BAST has an online campaign the price or offer will be valid until the product is out of stock or through the set period of time.

 

PAYMENT

Payments will be made through the service of Shopify that includes account debit or charged to credit cards. All products remain the property of BAST until full payment is made. The prices applicable are set at the date on which you place your order. Final shipping costs and payment fees are stated in the check out process before confirming the purchase.

All transfers conducted through BAST are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled with SSL encryption. Please read the terms and conditions for the payment gateway chosen for the transaction, as they are responsible for the transactions made.

 

PRODUCT INFORMATION

All our products are marked with a Best Before Date. Up until this date we guarantee the product will keep its quality standard. The best before date is only a recommendation, the product can be used way beyond the best before date, however e.g. function and scent may be degraded. For our personal care products, such as hand sanitisers, soaps and hand creams; after your product is opened, we recommend using it within 6 months.

Since we are using natural ingredients, they may vary from one season to another depending on weather and soil conditions. This may affect e.g. the scent experience between different batches even if we are using the same formula. Please email customer.service@bastparis.com if you have any questions regarding our products.

We always strive to present our products correctly wherever shown. However, we can’t guarantee that the colors you see at your screen exactly are as in reality. Differences may depend upon your screen and type of device you use.

 

STOCK AVAILABILITY

All products available for purchase are in stock if no other information is shown. If for some reason a product is out of stock when your order is due for shipping, you will be notified by email and we will refund you.

 

AGREEMENT & ORDER CONFIRMATION

When placing an order, an agreement is entered into between you and BAST. When we receive an order from you, we will send an order confirmation by email. We recommend you save this since it will make it easier for you if you should need to get in contact with our Customer service, Forwarding agents etc. This is also your receipt upon purchase.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Delivery

If we have your requested products on stock, your order will be shipped within 1-3 days. If the products cannot be delivered to you within three days, we will send you an email informing you about the actual shipment date.

Shipments to addresses in Sweden will be delivered by DHL. You will be able pick up your order at their pick-up point. A text message will be sent to you when your order is ready to be picked up. International orders will be delivered by UPS.

 

Shipping cost

When shopping, an estimated shipping cost will appear below the generated purchase amount, based on shipping to the country you are in. When checking out the shopping cart, the final shipping cost will be determined after stating your delivery address and shown in the order summary before confirming the purchase.

 

Term of delivery

All products are sold EXW our warehouse in Halmstad, Sweden, meaning that freight costs from Halmstad to the destination will be covered by the customer.

 

Taxes and customs duties

For international shipments any duties, taxes or VAT that might occur will be covered by the customer.

 

Signing for parcels 

When signing for your parcels please make sure you collect the same number of parcels you sign for. Any lost parcels must be claimed with the forwarder on site.

 

Unclaimed parcels

For parcels that are not picked up within 14 days, BAST reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping, freight and administrative costs.

 

Destroyed packaging / transport damages

If a shipment is lost, or you – when picking up the parcel – notice that the outer box is damaged, you should report that to the pick-up service and save a copy of the report for your reference if something is damaged inside the box. If you notice when opening the box, that an item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to us and if possible, include a photo of the damaged goods. Send us an email with this report to XXXXX and mark the email “transport damages”. We will contact you immediately to solve the situation.


EXCHANGES & RETURNS

Returns 

Returns must be made no later than 14 days after the day of pickup to generate a full refund of the purchase value. Returned products must be kept in its original packaging, in good condition and unopened. Damaged or opened products will not be accepted and no refunds will be made. Freight costs for returns will be covered by the customer. Please note that refunds are not valid for discounted or customized products. Accepted returns made later than 14 days after the day of pick up can be exchanged for other products.

When returning a purchased product please clearly mark the returning parcel ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to shorten handling time and for international returns avoid any Customs charges. BAST will not be responsible for any charges on the returning parcel made by authorities or Customs, they are the responsibility of the customer.

How to return and get a money refund:

  1. Before returning your product, you need to send an email marked “Return” to BAST Sweden AB, Oloflundsvägen 27, 302 41 Halmstad, Sweden. State your order number and list the products you would like to return. Once you receive an approval from us you can return the products.
  2. When returning the products, clearly mark the parcel with your order number and make sure to note the ID-number of the parcel and keep the receipt. It’s for your own security and to be able to trace the shipment.
  3. For extra security please send the ID-number to us, allowing us to follow the delivery.
  4. BAST will refund accepted returns immediately. Please allow a few days for the banks to handle the transfer of the funds.

Change size or product?

If you would like to change size of the same product; please send an email marked “Change size” to customer.service@bastparis.com stating your order number and describe which product and which size you are returning and what size and product you wish to receive in exchange.

If you wish to change a product for another one; please send an email to customer.service@bastparis.com state your order number, mark the email “Change product” and let us know which product you would like to return and which one you wish to have instead.

 

COMPLAINTS

If the product does not correspond to the standard expected please send an email marked “Complaint” to customer.service@bastparis.com stating your order number and describing the nature of the complaint. Please do so as soon as possible after receiving the delivery. We will get back to you immediately to try and solve the problem.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION

BAST will act responsibly for all personal information requested from you. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Events outside BAST´s control, which are not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that BAST is released from its obligations to fulfil contractual agreements. Example of such events are, but not limited to; government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

 

USE OF INFORMATION, VISUALS ETC.

The information on our website/online shop is protected by, among others, intellectual property and marketing legislation. This means that trademarks, trade names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information on products, services and other content may not be copied or used without the prior written consent of BAST or its licensors. We may take legal actions against any unauthorized use without further notice.

 

APPLICABLE LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In cases of any dispute, we will follow the submitted recommendations from the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes.

The National Board for Consumer Disputes may be accessed either via the website www.arn.se or address Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden.
